We are delighted to announce that on Thursday 3rd July we launched our new name, Carbon Descent, at an event in City Hall.
Hosted by Murad Qureshi AM, the evening provided an overview of SEA Renue's history, some recent project successes and a snapshot of some exciting initiatives for the coming year. The keynote speech ‘Aviation in climate change strategy: Disaster or distraction?' by Dr Victoria Williams from Imperial College's Centre for Transport Studies looked at issues from comparative CO2 emissions per passenger km to the science of radiative forcing and placed these in the context of carbon reduction targets.
